For Parents

"I ask not for a lighter burden, but for broader shoulders."

                                                                     ~ Jewish Proverb

Aspen in the Fall Teton National Park    Every day I'm reminded of how tough, persistent,
committed, passionate, and steadfast parents of a child
with a disability are.  From the single mother of two,
working nights so that she can take her child with severe
disabilities to medical appointments during the day, to the
family in the mid-west who's parents stay up with their child
through the night to assist with medical issues, then get up
and go to work the next day ... day in and day out.

This page is designed for the Parent.  We hope you will find
helpful tools, ideas, camaraderie, and support.  Most
importantly, we encourage your feedback helping us to tailor
this site to your needs and interests..
